Our Approach
We are dedicated to collaborating with our grower community, which shares our vision of sustainable and fair-trade practices. We believe in fostering long-term partnerships with our 1,600 vanilla farmers, ensuring they receive fair compensation for their hard work and commitment.
Sustainability Practices
The human element at the core of our entrepreneurial journey
Every stage of our process is meticulously crafted to ensure that women and men can earn a sustainable living from their work and significantly enhance their living conditions.
FMMD association
Sustainable development at the heart of rural communities is essential for environmental preservation. This involves promoting agricultural practices, educating and training communities, and raising awareness about environmental protection.
Fighting poverty
We are committed to improving the incomes of farming communities and providing financial education for women, to achieve greater economic autonomy and a better quality of life.
Local economic development
We foster economic growth and sustainable development to benefit local communities and the environment.
A responsible approach
We promote the sustainability of agricultural activities and aim for the self-sufficiency of producers.
A harmonious vision
We aim to promote harmonious and innovative development for a responsible value chain.
Quality and commitment of producers
Vanilla producers from the FMMD group fully meet the quality requirements, both regulatory and commercial. Farmers must consider these quality issues to maintain added value at the beginning of the supply chain, thus ensuring better commercial valuation.
Our Initiatives to Achieve These Goals
1. Support for production: Improve productivity through simple and effective methods such as pruning, mulching, and crop association.
2. Structuring producers: Organizing producers at Fokontany, communes, and district level.
3. Education and awareness: Informing and educating producers about the demands of international markets, promoting technical and methodological transfer.
Social Impact in Collaboration with FMMD
. Health initiative: Establishment of an essential health center in the rural commune of Ambodimanga.
. Infrastructure development: Improving accessibility through the construction of bridges.
. Environmental efforts: Active participation in conserving and renewing forest resources (5,300 trees planted).
. Hygiene and human support: Support setting up infrastructure dedicated to hygiene and human health, particularly food hygiene.
